I'm a girl, 9 years old and live in Southeast Asia.
Yesha was three years and nine months old when admitted to the Hayag Receiving and Child Caring Home on December 11, 2020. Her referral was facilitated by the City Social Welfare and Development Office of the locality due to alleged kidnapping. Hence, her temporary shelter was needed for her safety and protection. Yesha was found in good health condition with no signs of abnormality. However, she appeared unkempt and smelly. Upon her turn-over, she cried aloud because of separation from her previous custodian. Initially, she was turned-over to the center for the purpose of safety and protection because of the alleged kidnapping by her relatives. Based on the gathered information, it was found out that the child’s birth had been simulated by her known parents. The latter got separated and both of them claimed her custody.
